Overview
Tio Boto is a small eco resort in the jungle of Suriname.
From Paramaribo it’s about 2.5 hours to Atjoni and from there another 3.5 hours by boat and you’re already deep in the upper Suriname region here.
The resort consists of 6 cabins with 1 and 2 person beds. For those who want to spend the night in hammocks, that is possible as well here.
At Tio Boto you can enjoy the sun, the beautiful sounds of the birds and also swim in the rapids and the river.
The adventurers can also fish and prepare it in the evening by a campfire.
Please note: with 2-3 people, the tour is operated with the government line boat and from 4 people a korjaal will be chartered.
