From Zus & Zo where you are issued a bicycle (adjusted to correct height on the spot) we depart for Leonsberg Ferry Terminal.
Here we cross over the Suriname river to the Fortress New Amsterdam for a visit to its prison and its open air museum.
We continue per bicycle to the remains of the Mariënburg plantation (sugar plantation, famous from the rum recipes!)
After that we cross the Commewijne river and visit the beautiful plantation Frederiksdorp.
This plantation has been restored to its former colonial state, a must see in Suriname!
Lunch and bicycle are included.
It is possible to get a bicycle with a child’s seat, please let us know about this request in advance.
