The Fredberg, rediscovered by Fred not that long ago, has become extremely popular in recent years and is also referred to as an alternative to Raleighfalls and Voltz mountain.
One of the most popular tours among the students and interns of Suriname, but also nature lovers will find this a perfect tour.
Especially for bird watchers it is an absolute must (with a chance of spotting the cock of the rock, provided the season is there!).
Spotting animals, everything that is present with a very knowledgeable guide (Fred himself and or family members), adventure, natural beauty and amazing viewpoints.
The back to basic feeling, but not too basic, with sufficient and good guidance available.
The pinnacle is an overnight stay (and sunrise) on the top of the Fredberg itself!
