Overview

€ 40,- per person | € 40,- per student | € 40,- per child (4-12 years)

The tour will commence at 18:00 hours from sidewalkcafe ‘t Vat.
From there there is a car charter to Marienburg pier from where we will cross over the Commewijne river per boat to Johanna Margaretha plantation.

Here we will take a little walk over the former sugar plantation and visit a local family where we will have a lovely Hindustani meal.
After dinner and when the sun has set it is time to prepare (covering clothes and apply plenty mosquito gel). From here we board smaller boats and go into the swamp to find and catch some caimans. The boat ride itself is a little adventure in itself already.

The captain will catch the caiman(s) and will make sure the creature is both not hurt and safety precautions are taken.

After the photos are take the animals are released back into their natural habitat.
Satisfied it is time to head back to the bigger boat and back with the car again.
