14 day round trip (South West East and North Suriname) - 14 Days

Overview

For 14 days we make a tour through all wind directions of Suriname where we will visit beautiful and special places.
During this tour we go into nature and you will see different animal species including monkeys, sloths, birds, butterflies, etc.
You will also encounter the various population groups and cultures during this beautiful tour.

We visit:

– Browns mountain and Ston Island: Browns mountain is one of the nature reserves here you take a nice walk to the falls and after these falls you go to Ston Island to spend the night at the Brokopondo reservoir.
– Nickerie, the rice district, and also in Bigi Pan. Bigi Pan is an ideal place to visit for bird watchers. You can see herons, birds of prey, waders and the beautiful red ibises.
– Apoera, the destined second city of Suriname at the border with Guyana
– Blanche Marie waterfalls and site
– Raleigh falls and Voltz mountain where you will hike the Voltz mountain and a visit to another of the beautiful waterfalls of Suriname, the Mother Fall.
– Galibi sea turtles and French Guiana: a visit to the indigenous village of Galibi and there you will spot the turtles in the evenings. You will also visit French Guyana in the town of St. Laurent. The season of the turtles is from February to August. If you book the tour out of season, the Galibi tour is normally operated, only do not include the turtles visit. Instead, you will visit the Tiger Bank and enjoy a cultural performance.

During this tour you will make relaxing boat trips and will be able to spot the river dolphins during this.
